got over it

Turned out to be easier than I origanlly thought (not being mad you that is).

I was still a little mad when I pulled up to Applebee's. You pulled up a minute later and I put on a simple smile. You stepped out of your car--looked me in the eye & smiled. I was over it in that one second. I walked up to you, looked up (like I always have to because you are so much taller than I am :D), & said hi. You said hi back & pulled me into a bear hug & lifted me off the ground. How can I stay mad at you after that?!?! :D It was still only a couple of hours...but it was a good couple of hours! So I thank you.

Saw John aka the BEST Applebee's manager ever, today! I honestly had thought he had quit or something. I hadn't seen him in forever! And sure enough he remembered me--and of course Leti & Damian & of course Cody! He sat and talked with us for quite awhile--it was great! Made my day even better at that moment! :D haha!

Time for a work rant (which I shouldn't even have since I didn't work today):
No raise. Lame considering they have hired two new people and are losing 5 for the summer. If I don't have one on this first paycheck in May I'm gonna talk to the boss man again and see what the deal is. Granted I am still looking for another job because I hate mine so much, but it's all i have for right now, can't just quit, unfortunately. That's that.

I hate living paycheck to paycheck. It blows. I have $20 to last me two weeks...that's all I have after paying bills with this paycheck. Nothing but bills...no food, no gas, & having one of my bills be late...sad huh?!?!...just telling it how it is. It does suck, it is tough, but I'll get through it. :D I always do. :D

Next week...next week hopefully I'll get to go shooting. :D Too windy today...but the weather can't be bad for too much longer! :D I will win this one! Eventually!! :P

Probably write more later...because I have no life...as one of my roommates oh-so-kindly pointed out to me today! :P haha! Sad part--she's right! :D Oh well.
